BootUp expands access to high-quality, equitable AI and computer science education by connecting research, professional learning, curriculum innovation, and development strategy.

BootUp’s research helps us understand what works, how educators grow, and how students experience learning computer science and AI literacy. Our research combines implementation data to strengthen equitable CS and AI education.
AI literacy prepares students to think critically, navigate technology responsibly, and participate meaningfully in a rapidly changing world. As AI increasingly influences information, decisions, and opportunities, young people needs the skills to questions systems, understand how data is used, and recognize how technology can both help and harm communities. Early exposure helps students develop the computational thinking, ethical judgment, and adaptability needed to thrive academically and civically in the future.
BootUp’s Office of Development connects mission to resources by building partnerships, securing funding, and aligning supporters around scalable, equitable CS and AI education.
