Gail Chapman provides outreach services to potential new partners and supports current partner districts/regions on strategic planning related to implementation of ECS, including PD, leadership development, and sustainability. She coordinates updates to the ECS curriculum and instructional resources as well as supporting the facilitator development program She has co-led the implementation efforts related to the codesign and redesign of the ECS program to develop ECS v.10. Gail taught high school mathematics and CS, including AP CS for 15 years and subsequently worked on the AP Computer Science program at both ETS and College Board; this work included assessment development, curriculum design, and PD with a focus on equitable access for teachers and students. Gail was the recipient of the 2017 SIGCSE award for Outstanding Contribution to Computer Science Education.
