CodeMusic is about every student, no matter their age, combining the power of music and the creativity of coding to tell their own story and make an impact in their community.
From designing original beats to coding animations that dance to the rhythm, with our CodeMusic projects students can discover that coding is more than lines of code, it’s a way to express who they are and what they care about. Merging coding with music performance highlights that CS is also about creativity, storytelling, and expression.

About the Creators:
Our CodeMusic projects were created by Sababu Chaka Barashango and Connie Dunn. Sababu Chaka Barashango is a member of BootUp’s Advisory Board and Connie Dunn is BootUp’s Computer Science PD Specialist, Manager, Curriculum Development and PD Design. Both have a passion for music and coding and work with us to share that passion with students in every community.
